Linda Marie (Afrisio) Snow, age 75, passed away peacefully in her Kansas City, Missouri, home on January 29, 2026. Born on December 5, 1950, Linda lived a life defined by boundless positivity, a servant’s heart, and an unwavering devotion to the Lord, and those she loved.
In 1971, Linda married the love of her life, Ron Snow. Together, they built a life rich in beautiful memories, and Linda set a high bar for what it meant to be a devoted wife and mother. Though she was a woman of many talents, her greatest masterpiece was the family they raised together.
Linda found joy in the simple and the spirited. Whether she was camping, swimming, or enjoying a quiet afternoon at the lake, she embraced the outdoors. She was a legendary cook—most famous for her signature "Dirt Cake"—and she was never one to turn down the excitement of a few spins on the casino slot machines.
A gifted crafter, Linda poured her heart into knitting and crocheting, often using her talents to give back to her community. She was a dedicated volunteer for local organizations, including In As Much Ministriesand Relentless Pursuit Outreach and Recovery. She took immense pride in her final project this past December: hand-crocheting 12 purses to donate to those in need through Relentless Pursuit Outreach and Recovery.
Above all, Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She was her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s biggest fan, and watching them participate in any activity was consistently the highlight of her day. She possessed the rare gift of being the most positive and loving person in any room, leaving a legacy of kindness that will be carried on by all who knew her.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron Snow; her parents, Richard and Connie Afrisio; and her sister, Marilyn Williamson.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Ron) and Misty (Travis); her grandchildren, Patrick (Tiffany), Jacob (Morgan), Raley, Myla, and Clayton; and her great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Ryland, Kambree, KC, Arya, Beckett, Elizabeth, Eli, Wren, Denver, and Madelynn.
Linda’s warmth and light will be deeply missed, but her "Dirt Cake" recipe and the memory of her loving spirit will live on forever.
In place of flowers, please consider a donation to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, In As Much Ministries, or Relentless Pursuit Outreach and Recovery.
