Lois Ann Lager

          Lois Ann Lager, 86, a longtime Liberty resident, joined her Lord and Savior on December 18, 2023. She passed peacefully at home, with family at her side.

          Lois was born March 2, 1937, in Grant City, MO, the eldest of seven children of Luther and Pauline (Herndon) Fletchall.  She was united in marriage to James Edward Lager on February 3, 1968.

          Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by four siblings, Sherry, Marty, David, and Nona.

          Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jim; children, Carol (Mark) Whiteside, Scott Thompson, Linda (Jim) McFadden, and Lori Walling; grandchildren, Robert Whiteside, Elizabeth (Chris) Spence, Oksana Walling, and Yuliya Bareeva; and great grandchildren, Luke, Lilah, and Trevor. She also leaves two siblings, Sue Asher and John Fletchall, both of Grant City, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

          Lois was a devoted Christian and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  She loved Jesus and loved her family!

          A service celebrating Lois’s life will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, December 20, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow at Glenridge Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
