Lou Ann Bowles, 89, of Liberty, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 13, 2026.
Lou Ann was born April 10, 1936, in Excelsior Springs, MO to Leon Virgil and Flora Marie (Stephens) McCrorey. She was united in marriage to Marvin C. Bowles on May 1, 1953,
at Providence Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Lou Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Marvin; her son, Terry Lee Bowles; and brothers, George and Don McCrorey.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Henderson and Marla Ellison; four grandchildren, Crystal Henderson, Jeremy Bowles, Kyle Ellison and Monica Kixmiller (Ty); and her great grandson, Tucker Kixmiller, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service
Park Lawn Northland Chapel
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Lou Ann's life at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January21, 2026, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
