Marjorie “Sue” Miller, 88, of Appleton City, Missouri passed away February 6, 2026. She was born February 18, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri, the youngest of eight, to Ralph and Mildred Potter.

Sue attended Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri and worked as a supervisor in manufacturing and pharmaceuticals and retired as office manager at the family business in 2011.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Gigi) who was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan, loved traveling, reading, word puzzles, cross stitch, Hallmark movies and game shows, winning at the casino and collecting Precious Moments figurines, Hallmark ornaments, Longaberger baskets and five-dollar bills. She was married to her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Dale, for 61 years. Family was everything to her. She was the backbone and rock of the family with unwavering strength and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Sue leaves her children: Sue Anne McDonald and Russell Miller; grandchildren: Dale McDonald (Desi), Kayla León (Esteban), Caleb Miller (Kirstie), Carrie Miller; great-grandchildren: Willow, Mateo, Maya, Mariana, Leo, Ella, Max and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale and siblings: Mary Schifer; Ralph (Bud), Ben, Jack, Dan, Don Potter; Shirley Morey and children: Ralph and Mark Miller.

A celebration of her life will be Monday, February 23, 2026, with visitation at 12:00 PM and funeral service at 1:00 PM at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road: Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
