Maxine Niemeyer

Maxine Vanell Phillips Niemeyer was born January 2, 1928 to Dewey S. Phillips and Gladys O. (Reasons) Phillips. 

Maxine graduated from West Plains High School in May of 1946 and took some college classes at Kansas City Business School in 1955 and 1956. August 15, 1948, Maxine married Harold R. Niemeyer; they had 3 children, Robert H (Kathy), Thomas L (Marilyn) and Janet Eckhoff.  Maxine and Harold have 7 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. 

Maxine grew her career with the IRS, Kansas City News Distributers, All State insurance, and US Toy Co. 

Before her passing, Maxine wrote a note to her beautiful family, "I have been so blessed all the years of my life. Wonderful loving parents. Complianceble sisters, and brother. Loving Husband-Great-Wonderful Kids. My Grand kids - loved you so much. Brian, Elizabeth, Sandie, Daniel, Tyson, Teale, and Amanda. I love have giving you the stars, the moon, the twelve of never if I could have." 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Wayside Waifs of Kansas City or Fellowship of John at Foxwood Springs Living Center.
