Michael J. Siebert, age 72, passed away April 19, 2025.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Visitation will begin at 1PM followed by 2PM Funeral services. 

Michael (Booger Mike) Siebert, born September 16, 1952 in St. Clair Shores, MI to Anthony (Tony) and Ruth Siebert, left this world behind to go be with our Lord on Saturday, April 19th 2025.

Michael was an incredibly talented musician and artist. He loved music, especially blues, and drawing, painting, and fast cars. But more than that he loved spending time with family, friends and fur babies. Michael had an infectious sense of humor and could always bring a smile to everyone’s face, and will be remembered for his enormous heart. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of music with others in hopes of helping them along in their musical journey.

Michael found joy in sharing music with others. He performed as a bass guitarist with numerous renowned blues bands, including, "Cotton Candy and So Many Men", and took pride in his tour overseas to play for our troops.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Tony and Ruth Siebert, his wife Louise Siebert, his sister Patricia and her husband Ron DeMeyer, brother Donald Siebert, brother in love Gene Moreau and niece Debbie VanCoverden.

He is survived by his wife, Gayla Siebert.

Additionally, Mike is survived by his daughter Michelle and husband, Jamie Kelly; bonus daughter, Megan Jeffries bonus son Nick Jeffries; granddaughters Cali Norris, Meagan and husband Montana Reno, Payton and husband Clay Bricker; great grandsons Emerson Bricker and Nevada Reno; sister Nancy and husband Tom VanCoverden; brother David and wife Dee Siebert, brother Danny Siebert and significant other Donna, sister Lori and husband Tom Riti and brother Robert Siebert; nephews: Brian DeMeyer, Richard Siebert, RJ Siebert, Paul Siebert; nieces: Jennifer Wood, Dawn Moceri, Erica Rule, Becky VanCoverden, Melissa Siebert, April Moreau, Tara June Siebert, and Bethany Siebert.

Mike's family would enjoy seeing any and all photos and special memories you'd like to share! Please feel free to post them to the online register book or bring them along to the services on Friday.
