Michael Wayne Stump, was born November 15, 1948, at the Old Independence Sanatorium on Truman Road, Independence, Missouri.

Mike passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at North Care Hospice House, surrounded by his loving wife Marsha, daughter Karla, beloved friends and cherished animals. 

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Milton Stump, mother Shirley Jean Stump and sister Carrie Wallace and his brother-in-law Gary Wallace. 

In addition to his wife and daughter, Mike is survived by his 2 nephews and their children and grand children. 

A celebration of Mike's life is being planned at teh Church of Jesus Christ, Mt. Zion Restoration branch 15008 E. 35th, Independence, MO 64055.
