Myrtle Jane Lance of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on May 14, 2026, just two months short of her 106th birthday. She was born July 16, 1920, in Scotland, Arkansas, to the late Maudie Jane Dodd and Arthur William Watkins.

Myrtle was the last surviving of nine children. She attributed her remarkable longevity to hard work and clean living. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived a life marked by resilience, faith, and quiet strength.

She is survived by her six children: Virginia Young, Jeri (Roy)Huckabay, Larry Boggs, James (Judy) Boggs, John (Rhonda) Boggs, and Marion (Gary) Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lance, who passed away in 2008.

She has outlived so many friends but will be sorely missed by her children and family. Thanks for all the memories.
