Nikki Lou Cole

Nikki Lou (Cason) Cole, 79, of Cameron, MO, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023, with loved ones at her side.

Nikki was born July 9, 1943, in Monette, Arkansas, one of seven children of Allie Adams Cason and Ruth May (Taylor) Cason.  Along with her parents, Nikki was preceded in death by five siblings, Sue, Leroy, Buddy, Junior and Kenneth. Nikki grew up in Fillmore, California, where she graduated from high school and earned her bachelor’s degree from Ventura College.

Nikki worked 27 years for the Missouri State Department of Corrections in Moberly and later Cameron before she retired in 2002.  She loved her family and especially adored all babies. She also had a passion for growing her large, beautiful flower garden.

Survivors include her children, Suzanne Yount (Duane Durham), Eric Cole and Tammie Cole; grandchildren, Jennifer Miller, Josh Durham, Jessica Kirk (Damian), Zachary Simpson, Bradley Bindel and Bryce Cole; great grandchildren, Jaden, Braden, Laythan, Brooklyn, Kirsten and Kimberly. She also leaves a sister, Peggy Dailey (Chuck deceased) and many nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to Comfort Care Hospice.
