Pamela King

Pamela W. King, 65, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was born December 24, 1960, in Goldsboro, North Carolina to the late Elton and Mary (Mann) Robinson.

Pam’s family was her greatest joy in life. Married to husband Paul for 47 years, they had two sons, Paul Michael and Christopher Scott and was later blessed with four grandchildren, whom she loved and adored. Pam was proud of a 35-year career in medical insurance and disability claims. She was always her sons and grandchildren’s greatest fan in their youth sports and activities, even supporting the son in his forties that still can’t give up his cleats. She especially enjoyed traveling throughout the US on family vacations that included sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. She also made sure that her grandchildren, upon turning 21, got a trip to Las Vegas, her favorite destination.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul D. King, Sons Paul Michael King, and Christopher Scott King, Sisters Dee-Dee Stokes and Deborah “Deb” Catron. Grandchildren Brayden Michael, Kaleb Alexander, Meredith Ambrus and Madilyn Rayne King. She is also survived by 5 nephews and 2 nieces and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5-7 PM at Park Lawn Funeral Home 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at the funeral home at 10 AM. If you so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
