Pauline K. Johnson October 13, 1946- March 31, 2026 Pauline K. Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri peacefully passed away on the night of March 31st in Oklahoma City, OK alongside family. Pauline was born in Effingham, KS to Paul and Teresa (McNeil) Lucius. Pauline is preceded in death by her, parents; sisters Evelyn Marie Dokter and Betty Ann Lucius; brother-in-law Kerry Johnson; stepson Jeff Johnson; and niece Elizebeth Ann Dokter.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Kevin Johnson; her daughter Tisha (John Giglio): son Shawn "Peto"(Kristy Peto); brother-in-law LuVern "Doc" Dokter; sister-in-law Kim (Ron Gansemer); brother-in-law Kurt (Beth) Johnson; stepdaughter Kathleen (Louis) James; stepsons Scott (Michelle) Johnson; Kris (Laura) Johnson; Tim Johnson; 12 grandchildren: Brecken (Sierra) Brownfield and Brooke Brownfield; Angelo and Dario Peto; Chase James; Hailey Johnson; Ashley (Jerad) Mathes; and Zach Johnson; Ella and Erik Johnson; Shay and Leah Johnson and GiGi to 3 great grandchildren: Nora, Rhett and Benjimin. She is also remembered by other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and many friends.

Pauline graduated high school in 1964 from Atchison Community High School in Effingham, KS. As a young woman Pauline lived in Princeton MO, Unionville, MO and later in life she moved to the Kansas City area where she pursued and maintained a long career as a phlebotomist in Smithville at St. Luke's Medical Clinic, in Liberty at Seaport Family Care, Liberty Family, and currently Liberty Clinic. In this line of work, her "gift of gab"was used to keep her patients talking so they were more at ease during their visit. She recognized people everywhere she went and wanted to chat or just say hello.

As a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, and GiGi, Pauline devoted her time to family. She enjoyed being at home, shopping for her grandkids, attending their sporting games, watching sports and going to eat with her friends. Some of her most cherished memories were shopping with her sister, talking old times with cousins and shopping with anyone. Pauline loved to clean, vacuum, and work hard all while managing to ask a "few" questions to whomever she was with to keep the conversation going. Pauline and Kevin enjoyed their beloved dog duos; Jack & Jill and then Buddy & Holly, those dogs were loved unconditionally and never wanted for anything, except to get out the back fence and run the neighborhood while being chased by somone! She was a kind and loving person that enjoyed her life and the people in it.
