Peggy Elizabeth Moore

 Peggy Moore, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Peggy Cole was born on December 6, 1928, in Mercer, Missouri, the daughter of Ivan J. Cole and Maggie E. Cole. She graduated from Ravanna High School. At the age of 17, Peggy met Amos Moore, and they were married on June 1, 1950.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Maggie Cole, sister Margaret Black of Trenton, and granddaughter Andrea Sheeler.

Peggy is survived by her beloved husband Amos, daughter Teri Moore and son Rod Moore, all of Liberty, Missouri; daughter-in-law Barb Moore; two grandsons, Todd Moore and Troy Moore daughter in-law Jessicca Moore ; one granddaughter, Katy Jackson; one great-grandson, Cole Moore; two great-granddaughters, Aurora Moore and Sabrina Moore; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 2, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Peggy will then be escorted to Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty, Missouri, for burial. A reception will follow at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, and all are welcome to attend and celebrate Peggy’s life.
