Rhonda Francis Mathis

Rhonda Francis Mathis was born on August 31, 1968, to the parents of William L. Mathis and Patricia Diane Allen. She was preceded in death by brother, Billy Bryan and grandparents, Marion and Dorothy Thurston and Lois and Glenn Mathis.

She was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools receiving her GED. She studied and became a CNA, working in various medical locations until she was no longer able to do so.

In her spare time, she enjoyed video games, watching game shows and TV shows.

Rhonda passed away on September 2, 2024, at the Rehabilitation Institute in Independence, MO.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father, William L. Mathis; mother, Patricia D. Allen; brother, Patrick Thurston; daughter, Angelina Mathis; grandchildren Tekker Parks and Novalee Parks; nephew, David Gustafson and sister-in-law, Penny Hicks and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
