Rimma Gadalova, a cherished matriarch, passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born on December 24, 1934, Rimma's life was marked by resilience, determination, and a deep love for her family.

Rimma was preceded in death by her parents: Mesrop and Margo Balayan; her husband: Edward Gadalov; as well as her brothers: Albert and Nelson Avalayan.

She is survived by her son: Arthur Gadalov (Irina); her granddaughters: Elina (Sam) Spencer and Milana Gadalova; her great grandchildren: Lily and Isla Spencer; as well as her nephew: Alex Balayan and his children: Oscar and Nicole Balayan,

Rimma’s greatest joy came from her granddaughters and great-granddaughters, whom she loved more than anything in the world. Family gatherings were a central part of Rimma’s life. She made sure that everyone was fed, nurturing her loved ones with both food and care, creating warm and lasting memories filled with laughter and shared stories. A true Armenian grandmother who put her family above all else. Rimma Gadalova leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and perseverance.

Her contributions to her family will be remembered with deep respect and admiration. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Memorial service will be held Friday, May 29th . Visitation will begin at 12PM with the service following at 1PM at Park Lawn Northland Chapel: 1640 N State Rte 291, Liberty, MO 64068.
