Robert Leon Hodges

Robert "Bob" Leon Hodges, 89, went to be with the Lord, August 20, 2024.

He was united in marriage to Wilma L. Sims where they enjoyed 69 wonderful years together. Bob and Wilma lived in Independence, MO, until Bob retired from Southwestern Bell. Then they moved to Gerster, MO, where they enjoyed square dancing, volunteering for the surrounding communities and attending the First Baptist Church of Gerster, MO. In 2021, they moved to Odessa, MO. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, step parents, two sisters, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.

His survivors include his wife of 69 years Wilma Hodges of the home, daughters: Pandora Hodges (Chuck Lexa) of Katy, Texas, Cathy Bromley (Mike) of Bates City, Missouri and Monica Stallman (Kenny) of Independence, Missouri. One grandson Barry Randall, three granddaughters: Jamie Jennifer and Jordan, four great granddaughters: Lillian, Piper, Emberly and Chevy and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2PM, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Park Lawn Chapel. Family will receive friends beginning at 1PM on the day of services. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery with military honors being rendered.
