Rodney "Rod" A. Nave

Rodney Arlen Nave May 24,1953 to December 24, 2025

Rod was a family man. Married Jenny Squier in 1973, having 2 sons David and Scott. Remarried Tina Stevens August 20,1996 with children Eric, Jermiah, Robbie, Benjamin, Cynthia. Tina was the love of his life and grieved her to his last day.

Rod was in law enforcement, bondsman and security. Rod and Tina lived in the Kansas City Area for years then moved to Oklahoma to be close to Tina’s family. They moved back to Independence, Mo. after Rod was disabled from a surgeon’s mistake where Rod lost part of his foot. They enjoyed their family for their remaining years. Family was their first love. They also enjoyed motorcycle rides and being outside together. Tina passed away in 2020. He leaves sons David Squier, Scott Hartman, Stepsons Eric Slates and his family, sister Angel Shultz and family, and brother Mike Nave and his wife Marsha. He joins his wife Tina Nave, Stepsons Jermiah Slates and Robbie Slates and his brother Vic Nave, Parents Nick and Bobbie Nave
