Ronald R. Davis, 70, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri recently passed away after an extended illness. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Winford and Mary Davis.

Ron was a man who was always on the move, tinkering and fixing things around the house and working in the yard. He was an awesome husband, dad and grandpa. Ron worked for KC P&L (now Evergy) for 33 years, from 1979, until his retirement in 2012. His wife of nearly 50 years, Susan, would call him lovingly annoying. He always wanted to make people laugh and would often sing “I want to be near you” as he scootched closer to her on the couch.

Ron is survived by his wife Susan, daughter, son in law, son Ryan Davis, brother Riley Davis. He is also survived by his grandchildren and nieces.  

In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his brother Robert Davis.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Green Lawn Cemetery, in Kansas City, Missouri.
