Ronald Dean Sehrer

Ronald Dean Sehrer, 65, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at Research Medical Center. Memorial services will be 5:30pm Tuesday November 26, 2024 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel (1640 N. MO. 291 Hwy, Liberty, MO 64068) In leu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be given the National Kidney Foundation or your local no kill animal shelter.

Dean was born January 26, 1959 at Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul, Illinois to Bernard P. and Mildred Jean (Rich) Sehrer. He enlisted in the Air Force after high School. Dean work for the University of Illinois in the Janitorial Department for many years. He was a Pittsburg Steelers fan until he moved to Liberty in 2009 when he became an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He worked for Pioneer Container Company until he retired in 2018. He enjoyed classic cars and would show them in car shows. He won many trophies and awards for many different cars. Two of his favorite cars where the 40th edition of the Ford Mustang and his 1978 Corvette “Silverman” the 25th edition of the Chevy Corvette.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Champaign, IL  

Dean was preceded by his parents Bernard and Mildred Sehrer. He is survived by his brothers Robert “Bobby” Sehrer and Randee McNeel.
