Ronnie D. Morris

Mr. Ronnie D. Morris, age 70, transitioned to be with the Lord on May 2, 2025. Services will be Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 12 Noon, at New Generation Christian Center, 9601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64134.

Ronnie D. Morris was born on December 15, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Phillip and Bessie Morris. A proud graduate of Rockhurst High School, Ronnie went on to attend Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri, before honorably serving his country in the United States Navy.

In 1980, Ronnie married the love of his life, Jackie. Their union was blessed with one child, their beloved son, Ronnell. Ronnie and Jackie shared 46 years of unwavering love and partnership.

A man of deep faith, Ronnie was a devoted member of New Generation Christian Center. Even as his health declined, his dedication remained steadfast, rising early to join the 6:00 A.M. Mighty Men Devotional call, a testament to his spiritual commitment and perseverance.

Professionally, Ronnie was a dedicated and respected employee of the Veterans Administration Hospital, where he worked diligently for over 40 years before retiring. His passion extended beyond work—he was an avid sports enthusiast who loved sports cars, basketball, and was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ronnie will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His life was one of service, love, and faith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Jackie, his son, Ronnell, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
