Rose Marie Green

Dear friends and family,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Marie Green on September 16, 2025, at Carmel Hills Nursing Home. Rose, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, was 80 years old. Born June 8, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Mr. and Mrs. Canning, she lived a life filled with love and family.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents. On September 18, 1978, she married Gary Dale Green, and together they built a life in Sugar Creek, Missouri, centered around their cherished family. Rose’s dedication to her loved ones was evident in the countless family gatherings and celebrations she orchestrated, ensuring that her family remained close and connected. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed.

Rose is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Green; her two daughters, Maryann Wright and Leslie Ann Smith; her three grandchildren, Brian Bowers, Joshua Bowers, and Brandi Sossi; and her ten great-grandchildren, Kylie Jones, Ashton Bowers, Makenna Bowers, Olivia Bowers, Cameron Bowers, Addydon Bowers, Braydon Sossi, Jarper Sossi, Lilah Hale, and Gavin Raichle, and one great-grandson.
