Samuel George Alexander “Sammy/Sam”, of Stilwell, Kansas, passed away on January 13th after a tragic and quick battle with cancer. His loss was unexpected, and the family is profoundly saddened.
Sam was born on February 19, 1981 to Noel and Mieke Alexander. Sam was the third of five children. His beloved siblings, Amanda Alexander, Angie Terry, Deborah Dover and Stephen Alexander were some of his dearest friends, along with his parents and his siblings' spouses. After graduating from Olathe North high school in 2000, Sam went on to obtain his degree in business and play soccer at Lindenwood University.
Sam started his roofing company in 2011 and was successful in building a great company that was able to help others in their roofing needs. He enjoyed building and growing the company alongside his brother and collaborating with other business owners to help each other in business.
Sam married Brooke (Rindels) on April 13th, 2012 and they shared two children, Jackson and Olivia Alexander together. Sam was an exemplary father, friend, husband, and human being. His deep faith in the Lord and His goodness was a guide to his life, his love for his family, his generosity, and his devotion to friends.
Sam’s departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound. It is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. Sam’s Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 27th at 2pm at Grace Church, 8500 W. 159th St. Overland Park, KS 66223. A visitation will be held at Grace Church starting at 1pm.
