Shirley Dene Van Deuson

In her retirement, Shirley made her home with her son, where she continued to stay active by helping with yard work and caring for the household. Even at the age of 96, she could be found shoveling snow—something she truly enjoyed and a reflection of her lifelong energy and determination.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 1 PM until the time of service at 2 PM at Park Lawn Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the animal charity of your choice.
