Theresa Josephine (Traub) McClellan, born on May 12, 1940, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. She lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and an enduring love for the simple pleasures that made her days meaningful and joyous.

Throughout her career, Theresa contributed her skills as a secretary in the banking sector, where she was known for her professionalism and steadfast work ethic. Her colleagues remembered her as organized, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Beyond her professional life, Theresa found great delight in the natural world and the companionship of animals. She was a true lover of nature and took comfort in spending time outdoors, appreciating the beauty that surrounded her. Her fondness for literature and movies—particularly thrillers—offered her hours of entertainment and intellectual engagement. Traveling also played a significant role in her life, especially journeys made to visit her family in Montana, which she cherished deeply. Additionally, Theresa enjoyed playing bingo at the Gladstone Community Center, a pastime that brought her community connection and happiness.

Theresa’s Celebration of Life will be held on April 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel located at 1640 Route 291, Liberty, Missouri, 64068. Friends, family, and all who knew her are invited to join in remembering a woman whose grace and gentle spirit left a lasting impression.

Theresa Josephine (Traub) McClellan will be remembered not only for her professional contributions but for her genuine kindness, her spirited love for life’s simple joys, and the warmth she extended to those around her. Her memory remains a cherished treasure to all who had the honor to know her.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents: Paul E. and Josephine (Kuhne) McClellan; her brother: Ben Traub; as well as her aunts: Theresa Robinson and Helen Robinson.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years: Ronald McClellan; and her sons: Ronald Paul McClellan and Greg Thomas McClellan.
