Thomas L. Winslow

Thomas L. Winslow, 92, reunited with his wife, Helen, in heaven on March 8, 2023. Tom was born on May 4, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to Nathan and Noren Winslow. He served in the US Army from July 14, 1952 to June 23, 1954. Tom married Helen Williams on June 10, 1955 and were together until she passed away on October 2 ,1990. He was employed by Bendix / Honeywell for 35 years. He was an avid bowler, loved fishing, camping and old Westerns.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings Robert and Shirley and son-in-law Randy Surls.  Survivors include his 2 daughters, Patti Surls of Peculiar Missouri, and Mary Kiefer (Gary) of Republic Missouri, siblings Virginia Naylor, Katherine Beltz, Ruth Clarkson and Larry Winslow. He was also blessed with 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9AM, with services to follow at 10AM, Wednesday, March 22 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Croix Hospice, 811 Westchester Ave., Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
