Tinna Joan McMahon

Tinna Joan McMahon, 64, passed away February 26, 2024.  Tinna was born September 6, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri to James Wagester and Ann (Reid) Wagester.  She worked for St. Joseph Medical Center for over 45 years.  Tinna loved to cook, catering, the beach and the lake.  She was a Doe at the Elks Lodge Local No. 26 and a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary No. 4387.  Tinna was a beautiful example of love and sacrifice for those around you.  She will be dearly missed.

Tinna was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice Robinson and sister Henora Ross.  Survivors include her husband Patrick J. McMahon, daughter Abigail Griddine, daughter Sarah Nawaz, grandchild Alesia Griddine, great grandson Amari Griddine, sister Julie Frazier, sister Michelle Grissom, sister Jeanie Striegel, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Rosary will be at 10AM, followed by a Memorial Visitation from 10:30-11:30AM and a Memorial Mass at 11:30AM, Saturday, March 9 at St. Thomas More Parish, 11822 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.  Immediately following the Memorial Mass, everyone is invited to a Celebration of Tinna’s Life at the Elks Lodge Local No. 26, 515 E. 99th St., Kansas City, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HealingHouseKC.org.
