Obituary

Todd Christopher Falder, age 43, passed away on the morning of June 14, 2026. Todd was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 22, 1982, 14 weeks before his due date.

Todd was born with spastic cerebral palsy, which did not stop him from playing Little League Baseball, backyard football, kickball, or anything he loved to do. He just did it his way, Todd had many loves, including family, God, his dogs the Chiefs, Royals and everything firefighting!! When he was physically able he worked with his brother Kyle at Fish windows. With the tsunami of medical procedures that Todd endured in his life he truly earned the title of Warrior. In his notification to the Kansas City Fire Department Battalion Chief Russ Holmes summarized Todd's “career” with the following: “Todd was well-versed in the fire department culture; he was nicknamed 52 which was half of 104, where his father worked. He spent many days hanging out at the fire stations in his youth and was known, loved and mentored by many of the KCFD family. he will be truly missed.”

Todd has survived by his parents, Mark and Rebecca Falder, brothers and sister Troy (Kelly), Kyle (Hannah), and Amanda Falder. Nieces and nephews Tiffany(Brandon), Julian, TJ (Aspin), Donovan, Brayden, Jake, Aliannah, Savannah, Gracie, Bubba, Aria and Sunni.

He is preceded in death by his parental grandparents George and Lorena Falder, maternal grandparents Robert and Evelyn Beebe, his twin sister Emily Breanna, Uncle's Michael Falder, Morris Falder, and David Graham; nephew Corey Falder and cousins Eram West and Travis Falder.

When you meet your sister once again, give her a hug and a kiss from Mom and Dad, who always have and always will love you.

A gathering of friends and family will be Friday, June 19, 2026 from 12-1 PM; memorial service will follow at 1 PM at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, Missouri. If you so desire you may make memorial contributions to your favorite animal welfare charity in Todd’s memory.
