Truman Henry Ballard was born on August 28th, 1945, to Edward and Christine Ballard in Kansas City Missouri. He grew up in KC where he met the love of his life, Charmaine, had a family and settled down. He was an army reserve officer as a carpenter from 1967-1971 when he was honorably discharged having been trained as a marksman. Following his military career, he became a certified forklift driver for Macy's Warehouse and Interstate Underground. He retired from Interstate after 27 years of employment. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his grandson, going to yard sales and lawn mower repair. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Christine Ballard, 2 daughters: Darlene and Christy Ballard and 2 brothers: Kenneth and Donald Ballard. He is survived by his wife Charmaine Ballard of 56 years, 2 sisters Norma Beat and Mary King, 2 children Amy Schultz (Mike), Rebecca Spicer, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association.
