Vera K Osburn

Vera Kay Osburn (nee Trail), 82, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was born April 19, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Charles Trail and Betty Seitz Trail.

She worked as a supervisor form Liberty Mutual Life insurance, in Kansas City. Her true love in life was caring for her husband and children.

Vera is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Tammie Roehrig, and grandson Logan Ryan Batson.

She is survived by her husband Harold Wesley, daughter Sherri Harper, granddaughter Kala Nicole Harper, and sister Shirley Carlson on Iowa. 

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the caring staff at St. Luke's East Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospice House, the Kansas City, Fire Department and the team at Village Home Health: Lakesha, Freddie, Bobby, Charla and Matt for their gentle care of their mother and support to the family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, from 6-8 PM at Park Lawn Funeral Home 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Kansas City, MO 64138. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 1 PM at the funeral home. If you so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
