Victoria "Vicki" Lee Uhlmann

Victoria Lee Uhlmann, age 63, wife of Douglas J. Fryer of Liberty, MO, passed peacefully on November 3, 2025, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City.

Vicki was born June 18, 1962, in Avon, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Doris (Sensabaugh) Uhlmann. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1980 and later attended William Jewell College, studying Criminal Psychology, Accounting, and World Business.

Vicki worked for Ferrellgas in Liberty, and also for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where she was proficient in Complicated Programing and retired after many years. She loved junking and lunching with family, football (especially the Chiefs), her pets, crafting, float trips, and classic rock music.

On April 8, 2009, Vicki was united in marriage to her longtime companion, Douglas James Fryer, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Along with her husband Doug, Vicki leaves her mother, Doris Uhlmann of Liberty, MO; brothers, Stephen Uhlmann (Terrie) of Liberty, MO, and Jeff Uhlmann (Lori) of Olney, IL; and sister-in-law, Denise Uhlmann (Kevin, deceased) of Liberty, MO. She also leaves Doug’s family, including James Fryer (Billie) of Liberty, MO, Todd Fryer(Antonija) of Kansas City, MO, and Nicole Franklin (Doug) of Liberty, MO. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Richard Uhlmann, and brother, Kevin Uhlmann.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, on Monday, November 10, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 Highway 291, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow in Glenridge Cemetery. Remembering Vicki’s love for animals, memorials are suggested to the “no-kill” animal shelter of your choice.
