            William Herman Dillon, 83, of Lawson, MO, passed away March 25, 2023, at Grand Royale in Gladstone, MO.

          Herman was born June 26, 1939, in Kearney, MO, one of eight children of William Ira and Ethel Lenora (Colley) Dillon.  Along with his parents, Herman was preceded in death by siblings, Adrian Dillon, Bob Dillon, Faye Ervin, Fern Frick, Pauline Frick, Ralph Dillon, and Phillip Dillon.

          Herman worked many years as an auto salesman and was a member of Salem Christian Union in Excelsior Springs.

          Survivors include his wife, Ruby; sons, Jon Dillon (Melanie) and Andrew Dillon (Christina); grandchildren, Justin Dillon (Brittany), Amanda Dillon, Courtney Dillon and Sam Dillon; and a great grandchild due in September. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, Ruby’s family and other family members and friends.

          Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Herman’s life at 2:00 pm, on Friday, March 31, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery.
