Wilma J. Clemons

Wilma J. Clemons, 93, passed away May 19, 2023.  Memorial services will be 6:30PM, Thursday, May 25 at Three Trails Community Church, formerly Antioch Baptist Church, 7735 Main St., Kansas City, Missouri.

Wilma was born December 22, 1929 in Springfield, Missouri to O’Dell and Nettie (Epperson) Napier.  She was a salesclerk at Montgomery Wards at Ward Parkway for over 20 years.  She graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1955 and was an accomplished artist.  Wilma was a member of the Holmeswood Baptist Church.  She married Rev. Earl M. Clemons in 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1995.  Wilma was also preceded in death by her son Barry in 2011.  She is survived by her son Gregory of Belton, Missouri; son Brent of Paris, France; and one grandson Tristan of Kansas City, Missouri.
