Wilma N. Strickland

Wilma Strickland was born March 9, 1937, to Bernard Craig and Clara Melburn in Pratt, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Rusty Edgar.

Wilma eventually moved to and settled in the Kansas Area, where she spent much of her life.

Professionally, she tended to always be involved in the grocery industry, working as a Meat Cutter and Butcher.

In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting with family and friends

Wilma departed this life on September 28, 2025, at Wilshire At Lakewood Rehabilitation Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughter Rhonda Stephens, one grandchild, two great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
