Zachary "Zac" James Player

Zachary (Zac) James Player, 34, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Born on July 18, 1991, Zac was the beloved son of Tamera Sherise Robertson and Matthew Eric Player. He graduated from Liberty High School in 2010 and was known for his quick wit, big heart, and deep love for sports. Whether cheering on his favorite teams, watching ESPN, or laughing along with Pat McAfee, Zac found joy in every game and every moment.

Zac also loved fishing, golf and listening to music of all genres. He had a generous spirit and loved fiercely—his loyalty and warmth touched everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Doris Jean Stratton of Trenton, MO; grandfather Earl Emmit Player of Independence, MO; and grandmother Jo Lynn Martin of Liberty, MO.

Zac is survived by his father, Matthew Player of Liberty, MO; his mother, Tammy Frazier of St. Joseph, MO; and his brothers, Jacob Player of Liberty, MO, Colby Frazier and Eli Frazier, both of Liberty, MO. He is also survived by his grandfather Michael Martin of Liberty, MO; grandparents Gary and Pam Robertson of Liberty, MO; a large, loving family and countless friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, followed by a memorial service at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 N State Route 291 Highway, Liberty, MO 64068. A luncheon will follow at Independence Masonic Lodge 76, 120 South Pleasant Street Independence, MO 64050
