Devyn has been in funeral service as a funeral director and embalmer since 2016, serving communities such as, Kearney, Lawson, Excelsior Springs, and her hometown of St. Joseph, MO.

She was born and raised in St. Joseph and Savannah, MO, graduating from Savannah High School in 2015. She then became a graduate of the Mortuary Science program at KCKCC. Following this, she began her journey in the funeral industry.

The funeral business has been her top priority and she believes that God has blessed her to help those in need during a time of grief. She believes in treating every family with compassion and integrity and will always do her best to help families navigate through the loss of their loved ones. As well as the funeral business, Devyn has a love for fitness and hopes to become a Personal Trainer soon. She has competed in her first competition and hopes to continue on to help others learn more about health and fitness.

Ervell relocated to Kansas City from Louisiana after receiving his BA in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, from Grambling State University. He held various sales positions before pursuing his interest in the funeral industry in 1997. Since becoming a licensed funeral director in 2002, Ervell has been serving families in the community with care, concern and compassion. He is also a licensed insurance agent and pre-need counselor.

Ervell is married and has 2 children, a son and daughter, and 6 grandchildren who keep him on his toes. He is active in his church and believes that his faith provides him with the sensitivity and empathy needed to work with families during the grieving process.
